10-month school year, Tenure Track. Full-time; eligible for health insurance benefits. Position is associated with the terms and conditions of the negotiated Agreement between the Educational Association of Paramus (EAP) and the Board of Education.
Reports To: Supervisor of Special Services/Principal/Director of Student Personnel Services
Job Goal(s)To provide an approved elementary education program and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth; to help students develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education; and to maintain good relationships with parents and other staff members.
QualificationsTeacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities and Elementary K-6 Certifications
SalaryStarting salary of $57,547.00. Placement on the Education Association of Paramus (EAP) Salary Guide, in accordance with experience and related qualifications.
