Position: ESL Classroom Aide

School: TBDEffective Date(s):  school year

Reports To:

Principal and Supervisor of English Second Language and English as Second Language Employment

Terms:

10-month position

Part-time; not eligible for health insurance benefits

Not associated with any collective bargaining association

ELL Aide:

* Flexible schedule

* Not to exceed 20 hours per week

* ELL experience preferred

* Bilingual and/or Multi-lingual preferred

Job Goal(s):

To assist in establishing and maintaining a calm, safe, and pleasant atmosphere in the classrooms, cafeteria, and on the playground area.

Qualifications:

* High School diploma

* Demonstrated ability for the work to be performed

* Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate or acceptable.

Salary:$19.60-$22.45 per hour according to prior school-based experience
