Position Overview
Ben Porat Yosef – Student Services Administrative Specialist (Full Time, Year-Round, in-person)
Location:
Paramus, New Jersey
Ben Porat Yosef, located in Paramus, New Jersey, seeks a qualified and professional Administrative Specialist to join our Student Services team. This full‑time, year‑round position is located on campus.
Responsibilities- Government Liaison: work closely with Bergen County Special Services, NJ SLEDS, and Title Funds to comply with regulations and provide the strongest support to students, leading and owning these pieces and ensuring their success.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of these services, including documentation, communication, scheduling, and reporting.
- Serve as the point of contact between the school and outside agencies, managing referrals and student needs within the special education framework.
- Outside Provider Coordination: work closely with outside service providers and students’ parents to schedule services, maintain clear communication, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
- Documentation: keep accurate, up‑to‑date records to share student needs with all teachers, ensuring that all documentation meets district requirements and protects confidentiality; assist with the preparation of reports, student plans, and data collection related to the Student Services Department.
- Scheduling: work with the educational team to create schedules for Inclusion Teachers.
- Provide support for the Director of Student Services.
- System Development and Maintenance: work closely with the Director of Student Services and relevant administrators to strengthen internal systems across departments.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Degree and experience in education (highly preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree (highly preferred)
- 2‑5 years of administrative experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with Google Suite (required)
- Experience with Bergen County documentation (preferred)
Salary commensurate with education and experience.
