 Per Diem Position; as needed position

Qualifications
  • A regular New Jersey teaching certificate or a substitute teacher's certificate issued by the County Superintendent preferred.
  • Successful prior experience as a classroom teacher preferred.
  • Demonstration of familiarity with school, philosophy, program and policies.
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
    • Salary

    Substitute Teacher – County Certificate $150 per diem rate
    Teaching Certificate $175 per diem rate
    Substitute Classroom/Clerical Aide Rate $19.60
    Substitute LLD Aide Rate $21.00
    Substitute ABA/PSD/MD Rate $24.70

    Requirements
  • New Jersey resident or willingness to relocate.
  • Controlled substance testing and successful completion of criminal history background check are required of all applicants offered employment.
    • Evaluation

    Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
