Terms:
10‑month school year, Tenure Track. Full‑time; eligible for health insurance benefits.
Reports to:
Supervisor of Special Services / Principal / Director of Student Personnel Services.
To provide an approved elementary education program and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth; to help students develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education; and to maintain good relationships with parents and other staff members.
QualificationsTeacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities and Elementary K-6 Certifications.
SalaryStarting salary of $57,547.00. Placement on the Education Association of Paramus (EAP) Salary Guide, in accordance with experience and related qualifications.
Requirements1. New Jersey resident or willingness to relocate.
- Controlled substance testing and successful completion of criminal history background check are required of all applicants offered employment.
