1:1 Teacher Assistant (Multiple Disabilities)
The Board of Education is seeking applications for the school year for the following position: 1:1 TEACHER ASSISTANT (MULTIPLE DISABILITIES) (10 Months Non-certificated) BLESHMAN REGIONAL DAY SCHOOL
Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with or experience working with children with disabilities - preferred, not required
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for supporting the needs of students with significant educational disabilities
- Must be able to perform physical work, which requires frequent bending and lifting
- Independently lift/carry up to 25 lbs., more than 25 lbs. with assistance
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- New Jersey residence within one (1) year from date of hire
Compensation Rate/Range: $32,935-$46,685
