The Board of Education is seeking applications for the school year for the following position:
TEACHER OF THE HANDICAPPED/TEACHER OF STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES (10 Months - Certificated) BLESHMAN REGIONAL DAY SCHOOLQualifications:
- New Jersey DOE Certificate required
-Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities. - An instructional endorsement – required Elementary Endorsement.
- Experience working with students with multiple disabilities- preferred.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to perform physical work, which requires frequent bending and lifting. Independently lift/carry up to 25 lbs., more than 25 lbs. with assistance.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for supporting the needs of students with significant educational disabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team player.
- New Jersey residence within one (1) year from date to hire.
Compensation Rate/Range: $73,690 - $111,682
- BCSS Education Association Contract
