Role Description The Curriculum Designer (Spanish Speaking) is a full-time, on-site role based in Paramus, NJ. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and revising course curricula for higher education partners, ensuring alignment with learning outcomes, accreditation standards, and institutional goals. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with faculty and subject matter experts, drafting learning objectives, structuring course modules, and developing assessments, activities, and instructional materials.

The Curriculum Designer will apply evidence-based instructional design principles, review existing courses for quality and consistency, and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve learner engagement and success. The role also involves conducting research on best practices in online, hybrid, and in-person education and documenting design decisions to support scalable, high-quality program development.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Curriculum Development and Education, with experience designing course structures, learning outcomes, and assessments for higher education.
• Proficiency in Instructional Design, including applying learning theories, online pedagogy, and quality standards such as Quality Matters® or similar frameworks.
• Excellent Writing skills for creating clear instructional materials, rubrics, guidelines, and learner-facing content.
• Demonstrated ability in Research to identify best practices, evaluate academic literature, and incorporate data-driven improvements into course design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience working with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle) and common authoring tools.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with faculty, administrators, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
