Position is associated with the terms and conditions of the negotiated Agreement between the Educational Association of Paramus (EAP) and the Board of Education.
Reports To:Director of Pupil Personnel Services/Principal/Supervisor of Special Services
Job Goal(s):To provide an approved elementary education program and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth; to help students develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education; and to maintain good relationships with parents and other staff members
QualificationsTeacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities
and Elementary K-6 Certifications
SalaryStarting salary of $57,547.00
Placement on the Education Association of Paramus (EAP) Salary Guide, in accordance with experience and related qualifications
Requirements:1. New Jersey resident or willingness to relocate
- Controlled substance testing and successful completion of criminal history background check are required of all applicants offered employment.
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement between the Board of Education and the Education Association of Paramus.
