We provide engineering investigation, analysis, and expert services in matters involving premises liability, slips, trips and falls, construction and workplace accidents, building and property conditions, and other personal-injury and property-related claims.
Our engineers work directly on active litigation matters from initial case review through site investigation, engineering analysis, expert report preparation, deposition, and trial.
We are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer who wants to develop a career in forensic engineering and take an active role in investigating cases, developing defensible engineering opinions, and communicating those opinions clearly to attorneys, clients, and ultimately judges and juries.
Position DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Forensic Engineer at HUB Engineering, PLLC in Paramus, NJ. The forensic engineer will be responsible for conducting site inspections throughout New Jersey and New York City, conducting forensic analysis, conducting forensic engineering investigations, conducting failure analyses and utilizing analytical skills in forming professional opinions and writing reports for legal cases. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable speaking to people one-on-one and in small groups.
Must be comfortable testifying at depositions and trials in front of a jury.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in New Jersey and/or New York
. - Approximately 5 or more years of professional engineering experience.
- Analytical Skills for problem-solving and investigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
