Chief Financial Officer

Seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, oversight, and performance for a growing construction firm. This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive profitability, manage risk, and support scalable growth.

• Lead company wide financial strategy, planning, and forecasting
• Oversee accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and controls
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and project-based financial cycles
• Oversee job costing, margin analysis, and financial performance tracking
• Manage relationships with banks, sureties, auditors, and external partners
• Lead tax strategy, audits, and regulatory compliance
• Identify and mitigate financial risk, including bonding and insurance exposure
• Partner with operations and project leadership to align financial and business goals
• Build, lead, and develop the finance and accounting team
• Improve financial systems, reporting, and internal processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA preferred but not necessary)
• 10+ years of senior financial leadership experience, ideally in construction or project-based environments
• Strong understanding of job costing, cash flow management, and project financials
• Proven experience working with lenders, sureties, and external auditors
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
