Paramedic, Emergency Medical Services

Position Summary

Performs professional and technical duties to render basic and advanced life support care in the pre‑hospital emergency care setting.

• Associate's degree OR 5 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• National Registry Paramedic or New Jersey State Certified MICP required.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• ICS – 100, 200, 700, 800 certifications required.

• Minimum one year experience in the pre‑hospital or emergency transportation field.

• Current and valid driver's license.
• Adherence to HR Policy 1‑13, including maintaining an acceptable driving record throughout employment.
• Highly adaptable with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to shift workload efficiently.
• Ability to function competently in stressful situations and changing patient needs.
• Cooperative teamwork with healthcare system colleagues, patients, and families.
• Critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and problem‑solving skills to deliver care.

Pay Range: $33.99 - $42.49 per hour
