Onsite FT 40: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm
Salary: $68-71k

Job Summary:
The School-Based Health Center (SBHC) Manager is responsible for managing assigned School Based contracts;
Assisting with the overall coordination, administration, and daily operations of the School-Based Health Center;
Working collaboratively with school administration, healthcare providers, behavioral health staff, families, community agencies, and organizational leadership to ensure students have access to high-quality, integrated medical, behavioral health, and preventive healthcare services. Ensure compliance with federal, state, organizational, licensing, grant, and accreditation requirements while promoting a safe, student-centered environment.
What You Will Do:
- Provide hands-on direct therapy services and care, which may include offering individual or group counseling, or conducting individual therapy sessions face-to-face or via telehealth.
- Conduct thorough assessments to gather and understand the clients' mental, emotional, medical, and physical health conditions and evaluate clients' progress towards therapeutic goals.
- Identify and diagnose psychological conditions based on assessments, test results, and patient interviews. Develop individualized treatment plans, utilize therapeutic techniques, and intervene in client crises.
- Educate clients about mental health conditions, coping strategies, treatment options and self-care techniques. Provide resources and tools to help clients manage their symptoms and improve their well-being.
- Track clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and ensuring accurate up-to-date detailed documentation. Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments to ensure effective management of health conditions.
- Work with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, specialists, therapists, social workers, and community sources, to provide comprehensive care. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client cases and coordinate care and advocates on client's behalf.
What We Need to See:
- A Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited college and university
- At least 1
-2 years of clinical experience in the mental health field - Experience providing clinical services to adults, children/adolescents and groups with serious and persistent mental illness or substance use.
- Must have prior experience working with children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting
