Radiologic Technologist

The Radiologic Technologist specializes in radiographic imaging procedures, including radiography and specialized interventions, ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment. They support patient care through accurate imaging and adherence to safety protocols.

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment including IR/Special Procedures technology in compliance with procedural protocols.
• Interpret physician orders and prepare patients for imaging exams.
• Ensure proper completion of pre-employment requirements such as lab work and certifications.
• Administer contrast media and assist with sterile procedures as required for special procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information.

• Valid ARRT (R) certification and NJ State Radiography License (or ability to obtain within 1-2 weeks).
• At least 2 years of radiologic imaging experience, including IR/Special Procedures.
• Proficiency in systematic EKG rhythm interpretation and heart rate calculations.
• Ability to pass a Basic Arrhythmia Exam with a score of 80% or higher.
• COVID-19 vaccination series and booster required; no exemptions permitted.
• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, patient positioning, and safety standards.
