Physical Therapy Assistant

Provides dedicated physical therapy assistance to promote patient recovery and mobility. Supports licensed therapists in executing treatment plans and ensuring optimal patient care outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient therapy session.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress or concerns to supervising therapists.
• Maintain documentation of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes.
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and regulatory standards during patient interactions.
• Support patient education on therapy exercises and post-treatment care.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active PTA license or certification in the relevant state.
• Demonstrate excellent patient care skills and strong communication abilities.
• Have prior experience working in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting preferred.
• Display strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Be able to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions accurately.
