PositionSummary
Octapharma USA is searching for a Manager, Medical Information to join our team. The Manager, Medical Information, will have accountability and responsibility in the management of all medical information requests across the Octapharma USA, immunology, hematology and critical care portfolios. The Manager is responsible for providing pertinent literature, education and scientific expertise on product use throughout the product life cycle. This individual will provide scientific or technical guidance to internal and external (HCPs) stakeholders, participate in the development and execution of strategic projects, ensure products are utilized safely and effectively and responsible for the creation and implementation of process and systems.
Requirements- This position is required to be onsite in Paramus, NJ 5 days a week
- 3+ years of related industry experience in medical information
- Experience with plasma proteins preferred
- PharmD, PhD, NP or MD with a minimum number of 3 years relevant experience in medical information.
- Knowledge in critical care, hematology, neurology, oncology or immunology preferred
- Knowledge of IVIG/SCIG, 4F-PCC, Fibrinogen, FVIII or FVIII/VWF or other plasma proteins preferred
- Ability to interpret and present complex medical topics
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide answers to medical and product information requests
- Strong understanding of industry compliance guidelines
- Understanding of drug surveillance, product promotion, and the legal aspects of product information

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $120,000 to $160,000
; however, unexpected, and necessary adjustments or increases may result from Company annual salary increases, if applicable, and or fluctuations in the job market necessitating adjustments to pay ranges. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
