Travel X-Ray Tech

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Travel X-Ray Tech for a 13-week assignment at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, NJ. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic radiologic examinations and CT scans at the state's largest hospital and licensed nursing home facility, ensuring precise imaging and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures and CT scans according to facility standards and protocols.
• Safely prepare and position patients while maintaining radiation safety standards and minimizing exposure.
• Maintain radiologic equipment, ensure proper sterilization, and report operational issues promptly.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, radiologists, and physicians to deliver accurate, timely diagnostic results.
• Complete required timekeeping and clinical documentation accurately via Kronos.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure & Certifications:
  • Active ARRT (R) or applicable New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License.
  • Active AHA BLS Certification.
• Skills: Proficient in diagnostic X-ray procedures and CT scanning.
• Compliance Requirements:
  • Complete full NuWest packet, including CN-9 form for prior NJ patient care experience.
  • Completion of pre-employment physical examination (14–30 days prior to start date).
  • Completion of mandatory ~4-hour online Net Learning modules prior to orientation day (reimbursed 4 hours upon orientation completion).
