MRI Technologist
Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to operate MRI imaging equipment, perform scans, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images. The candidate will work at a hospital campus, providing critical imaging services under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Siemens and GE MRI scanners to acquire diagnostic images in compliance with protocols.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all safety standards, including COVID-19 vaccination policies and radiation safety protocols.
- Document imaging procedures accurately in Philips and New Lantern PACS systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to meet patient care needs and support quality care initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Hold ARRT(MR) & (R) certification and current New Jersey or Compact nursing license.
- Possess at least 5 years of MRI experience with Siemens and GE scanners.
- Have experience with Philips and New Lantern PACS, with proficiency in RIS (Meditech).
- Be available to work Wednesday through Saturday night shifts, including every 3rd weekend.
- Demonstrate proficiency in systematic EKG rhythm interpretation and basic arrhythmia knowledge.
