Behavior Specialist
The Board of Education is seeking applications for the school year for the following position:
Behavior Specialist (10 Months Non-certificated). District qualifications include a bachelor's degree in education or social sciences, with a master's degree preferred. Post-baccalaureate training in applied behavior analysis or comparable field is preferred. Specialized training and/or demonstrate expertise in school based applied behavior analysis is required. Ability to conduct comprehensive formal and informal function behavior assessments is necessary. Experience working with students with autism/disabilities is preferred.
Must be able to perform physical work, which requires frequent bending and lifting. Independently lift/carry up to 25 lbs., more than 25 lbs. with assistance. New Jersey residence within one (1) year from date of hire. Compensation rate/range: $70,174 - $80,074 - non-cert & $73,690 - $111,682 - BCBA
