One Surgical Specialists in Paramus, NJ is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant / Clinical Scribe to join their growing team. This is a dynamic dual-role opportunity where you'll play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care while keeping clinical operations running smoothly. Responsibilities- Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures
- Accurately document patient encounters, histories, and physician notes in real time as a clinical scribe
- Prepare and room patients, recording vital signs and chief complaints
- Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) with precision and timeliness
- Coordinate pre- and post-operative patient instructions and follow-up care
- Manage exam room setup, sterilization, and medical supply inventory
- Support front and back office operations as needed to ensure seamless patient flow
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) preferred or equivalent clinical experience
- Prior experience as a clinical scribe or strong medical documentation skills
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical terminology
- Experience in a surgical or specialty medical practice is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced clinical setting
