Position Overview
The Guest Service Associate provides exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. Responsibilities include parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely, assisting with luggage, and offering information and directions to enhance the guest experience.
Core Responsibilities- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, coworkers, and clients.
- Greet guests within five feet using appropriate salutations and maintain proper phone etiquette.
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assist with luggage and open vehicle and hotel doors.
- Assist guests with directions, taxi arrangements, reservations, and other inquiries; provide information about facility amenities and local attractions.
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures; issue and collect claim checks, and manage ticket information, including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt.
- Calculate and collect revenue when required and shuttle guests to approved locations; deliver messages or items as requested.
- Maintain all documentation and reporting to ensure accurate ticketing and revenue collection.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Valid driver’s license applicable to the state of employment.
- Minimum one month of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes for providing personal services.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; write simple correspondence.
- Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide up to 100, and perform basic financial calculations.
- Understanding of 24‑hour and military time, parking rates, and revenue collection.
- Desireable skills: manual transmission operation and parallel parking.
Outdoor work for extended periods, exposure to extreme heat and cold, lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, occasional running or walking, and travel of up to 5% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits- Hourly base pay of $16.92 plus tips.
- Overnight work schedule.
