Occupational Health Program Manager (RN) About the Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead and oversee our client’s Occupational Medicine program in Paramus, NJ. This is a clinical leadership role combining direct patient care, regulatory oversight, team supervision, and program strategy. The annual base salary range is $120,000 to $130,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job ResponsibilitiesClinical & Patient Care
- Provide direct care including assessments, wound care, medications, screenings, and vaccinations
- Perform occupational health testing (EKGs, drug screens, audiometry, vision, etc.)
- Respond to workplace injuries and urgent situations
- Maintain accurate, compliant medical documentation
- Partner with the Medical Director to oversee the Occupational Medicine program
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, CDC, HIPAA, and related regulations
- Manage medical surveillance programs and workplace health initiatives
- Monitor KPIs and use data to improve program performance
- Serve as liaison for audits and employer partnerships
- BSN required;
Master’s preferred - 3+ years of leadership experience in occupational or employee health
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, Workers’ Comp, ADA, FMLA, and related standards
- Experience with EMR systems and reporting tools
- Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
