Position: Occupational Health Program Manager (RN)

Occupational Health Program Manager (RN) About the Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead and oversee our client’s Occupational Medicine program in Paramus, NJ. This is a clinical leadership role combining direct patient care, regulatory oversight, team supervision, and program strategy. If you’re confident managing both people and process — and want to shape a high-performing employee health program — this role offers real influence.

The annual base salary range is $120,000 to $130,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

Job Responsibilities

Clinical & Patient Care

  • Provide direct care including assessments, wound care, medications, screenings, and vaccinations
  • Perform occupational health testing (EKGs, drug screens, audiometry, vision, etc.)
  • Respond to workplace injuries and urgent situations
  • Maintain accurate, compliant medical documentation
  • Partner with the Medical Director to oversee the Occupational Medicine program
  • Supervise and mentor clinical staff
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, CDC, HIPAA, and related regulations
  • Manage medical surveillance programs and workplace health initiatives
  • Monitor KPIs and use data to improve program performance
  • Serve as liaison for audits and employer partnerships
Job Requirements
  • BSN required;
    Master’s preferred
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in occupational or employee health
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, Workers’ Comp, ADA, FMLA, and related standards
  • Experience with EMR systems and reporting tools
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
