Schedule

Managers are expected to be present during core operating hours and business needs. Managers are generally scheduled for one weekday off between Monday and Thursday, subject to business needs.

Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience managing teams, scheduling, and daily operations
  • Reliable transportation to Paramus, NJ
  • Ability to work weekends and peak business periods
  • Food Handler Certification preferred; must obtain certification within 30 days of hire
Physical Requirements:
  • Move product, supplies and/or boxes repetitively; ability to push, pull, lift a maximum of 50 lbs. based on needs
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time, including a 10-12 hour shift
Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff management. Ensure proper opening, operating, and closing procedures are followed. Resolve guest concerns and escalations professionally.
  • Lead, manage, recruit, and develop all store employees, including Assistant Managers and all other team members. Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development.
  • Manage store operations efficiently by overseeing transactions, online and offline bookings, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting. Manage cash handling, deposits, reconciliations, and operational controls.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including sales, labor costs, inventory costs, party bookings, and guest satisfaction metrics. Achieve & surpass daily, weekly & monthly sales goals, and constantly provide feedback to improve sales, profitability, and customer retention.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and provide feedback on trends. Identify shrinkage, waste, or loss prevention opportunities. Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Develop marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones through excellent service and promotional activities.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and store standards to ensure a clean and secure shopping environment.
  • Coordinate birthday parties, private events, school groups, and special bookings, and oversee party execution and event logistics.
  • Ensure all food stations, preparation areas, and storage areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety and health standards, and train team members on beverage preparation, food handling, cleanliness, and customer service standards.
  • Store Manager should expect to be the sole staff in the store in rare cases
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of demonstrated leadership with experience in team management, shift supervision, sales management, merchandising, and marketing.
  • A BS/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, and Sales is preferred.
  • Enjoy interacting with guests, developing strong teams, and taking ownership of business results. Your sense of ownership is a direct milestone towards profit‑sharing opportunities.
  • Strong skills in employee management, training, communication, and conflict management.
  • Strong track record of working in a multi‑tasked, fast‑paced environment. Staying highly organized is a must.
  • Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, inventory management software, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping.
