General Manager
Reporting to the District Manager, the General Manager leads day‑to‑day operations of a single Jared store to achieve sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory control, brand representation, and team member development.
OverviewAt Jared we deliver Accessible Luxury. In this role the General Manager is the architect of store culture, customer experience and business performance, blending luxury service, operational excellence, talent development and strategic leadership.
What You’ll Do- Drive business and operational excellence, owning total store performance including sales, profitability, operations, and customer experience.
- Analyze trends, identify opportunities, activate strategies that improve performance.
- Protect profitability through payroll, inventory, compliance and operational discipline.
- Ensure consistent execution of visual standards, launches and promotional priorities.
- Create a culture centered around luxury service, relationship‑building and customer confidence.
- Ensure every touchpoint reflects Jared’s elevated brand standards.
- Set expectations for appointment culture, clienteling, follow‑up and personalized selling experiences.
- Inspire high‑performance behaviors through floor presence and visible leadership.
- Coach and develop talent: recruit, develop and retain high‑performing talent; build a coaching culture rooted in accountability, recognition and growth; develop future leaders through intentional feedback and planning.
- Foster a diverse, inclusive, people‑first environment where varied perspectives are valued.
- Help customers celebrate life’s meaningful moments through exceptional experiences, expert guidance and relationship‑based service; build emotional connections via storytelling, personalization and trust.
- 3+ years retail sales experience, or 2+ years sales experience with 1+ year of management experience.
- Specialty retail and/or jewelry experience preferred.
- Proven ability to lead a team to results through coaching, accountability and execution.
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize, resolve conflict and drive results in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to operating with professionalism, integrity and confidentiality where required.
Flexible to business needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Typical schedules target five days, 40 hours, with additional time during peak seasons.

Compensation and BenefitsBase pay $50,000 – $94,500 plus commission on sales. Final pay rate is determined based on experience and qualifications.
