Description

The Girl Scout mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Behind every Girl Scout and volunteer is a team of local staff ready to help them earn that next badge, embark on a camping adventure, or organize an impactful service project. We are Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey (GSNNJ) serving girls in grades K-12 in Bergen, Morris, Passaic, Sussex and northern Warren counties.

We bring the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to 19,000 girls and 10,200 adult members. Our newly opened Dream Lab is a bold, imaginative hub for sisterhood, a place where ideas ignite, friendships flourish, and possibilities come to life. This dynamic new experience center offers Girl Scouts a whole new and meaningful way to explore our four pillars - STEM, Life Skills, Entrepreneurship, and Outdoors.

To build strong community connections and expand Dream Lab’s reach and impact, GSNNJ is seeking a creative and community-minded part-time Dream Lab Marketing & Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team.

Position Summary

The Dream Lab Marketing & Community Outreach Coordinator is a hands-on, creative role responsible for promoting Dream Lab programs, keeping the physical space current and engaging, creating social media and marketing content, and building awareness throughout the community. This person will help ensure that families, Girl Scout members, educators, schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders know what is happening at the Dream Lab and how they can get involved.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, visually creative, comfortable with community outreach, and able to move easily between creating a flyer, posting a reel, updating a showcase, and connecting with a local partner.
