Overlook

We are accepting applications for adjunct positions in the division of Health Professions for Summer and Fall 2026. Below are the disciplines we are currently hiring for and the requirements for each.

Nursing Department

The mission of the nursing program at Bergen Community College is to educate students and graduates to pass the nursing licensure examination and assume an entry‑level position as a registered nurse. Nursing students are actively involved as self‑directed, responsible partners in the learning process. Students are educated in the classroom, in nursing skills and simulation laboratories, and in a variety of clinical settings.

Depending on their schedules, students have the option to pursue a nursing day or nursing evening program. The program uses technology such as Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) and the Human Child and Adult Patient Simulators to enhance learning, skills mastery and critical thinking in the application of the nursing process. The nursing program is approved by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.
