BERGEN COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICES ANNOUNCEMENT: POSITION OPENING SCHOOL NURSE (10 Months Certificated) DISTRICT
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1. New Jersey DOE School Nurse certificate and current New Jersey RN license required.
- 2. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- 3. Current experience working as a School Nurse in a setting with students with special needs preferred.
- 4. Should have familiarity in working with students with significant physical and intellectual disabilities.
- 5. Should have familiarity in working with students with complex medical conditions.
- 6. Effective written and oral expression.
- 7. Demonstrated ability to work as a team player.
- 8. Must be able to perform physical work, which may require bending and lifting. Independently life/carry up to 25 lbs., more than 25 lbs. with assistance.
- 9. New Jersey residence within one (1) year from date of hire.
Compensation Rate/Range: $73,690 - $111,682
