We are known for our cutting-edge translational approach to research, our customized solutions, the breadth, and quality of our work, as well as for our ability to identify statistically relevant phenotypic changes that help our clients quantify the efficacy of their treatments before they move into the clinic.

Psycho Genics Inc is seeking a skilled researcher to perform LCMS (Liquid Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer) bioanalysis in support of our client partnerships and drug discovery efforts. We are looking for a highly motivated professional who is eager to expand their scientific knowledge base and learn advanced bioanalytical techniques in our growing organization. A basic understanding of chemistry is required, and hands-on experience with in vivo laboratory work is a distinct advantage.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality LCMS bioanalysis in support of client projects and drug discovery initiatives.
  • Process diverse sample types (plasma & tissue) using a variety of sample preparation techniques.
  • Methodically track samples from laboratory intake through to completion of analyses, utilizing Microsoft Teams to maintain an organized, transparent workflow.
  • Organize complex datasets using Microsoft Office and communicate results via clear written reports to clients.
  • Maintenance of LCMS systems (mobile phase preparation).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or a related scientific discipline with strong foundational laboratory training and skills.
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a professional laboratory setting.
  • Highly conscientious with an exacting standard for data accuracy; someone who takes pride in thorough self-editing and precise work.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, with a proven ability to collaborate seamlessly within a team and a proactive desire to learn methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for data management and presentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working within a DMPK laboratory setting.
  • Hands-on experience operating LCMS systems.
  • Proficiency in Prism for data visualization and preparation of reports, presentations and updates to staff and clients.
  • Hands-on laboratory skills (pipetting, sample handling, excellent organizational skills).
