Warehouse Associate

Pay Range

$16.02 - $21.60

As a warehouse associate at Floor & Decor, you are the backbone of our retail location. Your key responsibilities include compiling orders, replenishing and moving merchandise on the sales floor or to customer vehicles, checking inventory and orders, interacting with customers, and operating a forklift.

• Demonstrate and understand compliance with company safety processes.

• Restock the show floor with product.
• Organize merchandise to company standards to ensure customers may shop with ease.
• Load out customers with the correct product.
• Help customers find products and answer questions.
• Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Keep work area clean and safe.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic math skills.
• Warehouse experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Completion of forklift certifications through F&D.
• Where permissible by state law, certification requires successful passing of a drug test.

Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. Noise level is typically quiet to moderate. Physical/sensory requirements include exerting 30–60 pounds of force occasionally, 20–30 pounds frequently, or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Requires frequent use of hands and fingers, standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
