The role of Retail Assistant Store Manager is to support the Retail Store Manager in leading the sales team, forging connections with customers, communicating brand values, and maintaining Vuori’s standards in retail sales and customer experience.

• Ensure each customer receives the best possible experience.
• Takes ownership of the sales floor to prioritize customer experience.
• Prepares the fitting rooms, locates sizes, and provides knowledgeable feedback on style and fit.
• Builds lasting relationships with customers, discussing product details, new arrivals, replenishment, and upcoming events.
• Stays informed on new and best‑selling items and shares insights with customers and the team.

• Leads day‑to‑day store operations when the Store Manager is absent.
• Motivates the sales team and achieves sales goals within a team‑based commission environment.
• Grows product knowledge across the fashion landscape, especially active‑wear, to serve as a customer expert.
• Guides the team in completing projects while maintaining focus on customer experience.
• Communicates inventory needs to support business objectives.

• Assists the Store Inventory Lead with product shipment processing and inventory management.
• Collaborates with the Retail Store Manager on daily maintenance, sales strategy, community, and team management.
• Leads daily store maintenance, including restocking, visual merchandising, and cleaning.
• Maintains safety and protocol standards during daily store openings and closings.
• Encourages employees to give 100%, be punctual, and fulfill role responsibilities.

• Completes weekly manual restock and reports to inventory management.
• Completes weekly cycle counts.
• Assists in processing weekly shipments.
• Ensures all store supplies are stocked and communicates needs monthly.
• Processes online returns, defective products, and ships to the warehouse.
• Manages daily restock and destock.
• Maintains backroom cleanliness and organized bins.
• Manages Aloha displays, refreshing and restocking weekly.
• Refreshes mannequin displays and checks one‑offs.
• Ensures merchandising standards are met on the floor.

• Available morning and/or evening, work 8‑hour shifts, 5 days a week, and at least one weekend day.
• Demonstrates leadership in punctuality and attendance, adhering to scheduled shifts.
• Develops relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Is a customer‑service expert, creating experiences and handling concerns proactively.
• Prioritizes multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Learns new procedures and processes quickly.
• Has strong organizational and follow‑through skills.
• Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Hourly Rate: $28‑$33/hr

Commission: $3‑$6/hr

Overall Compensation: $31‑$39/hr
