We're growing our Northeast Healthcare, Education, and Not‑for‑Profit team and are looking for a Commercial Banker passionate about partnering with mission‑driven organizations. The Sr. Relationship Manager will be a key member of our Healthcare, Education & Not‑for‑Profit Team, which covers our clients and prospects throughout the State of New Jersey.
Job DescriptionThe Relationship Manager is responsible for providing advice and valuable financial solutions to complex Global Commercial Banking clients and prospects. The role serves as the primary point of contact, acquiring, deepening, and maintaining profitable relationships, collaborating with teammates, and facilitating client interactions with Product Specialists to identify cross‑selling opportunities and increase overall client satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Manage an extensive portfolio of HENFP clients and prospects with annual revenues of $50 million and above to help companies save, borrow, and invest for their current and future needs.
- Acquire, deepen, and maintain profitable client relationships through sales, prospecting, and enhancing existing relationships.
- Understand and interpret financial and cash flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions and industry trends.
- Collaborate with domestic and international teammates—including Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, Wealth Management, Credit, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services—to design and deliver financial solutions.
- Lead and facilitate dialogue with complex clients and prospects regarding industry, alternative capital structures, and general business issues.
- Coach and mentor peers, utilizing leadership skills.

- 10+ years of experience in broad‑based commercial lending, corporate finance, or relationship management.
- Demonstrated capability managing an extensive portfolio of Healthcare, Education, and NFP clients with revenues greater than $50 million.
- Proven track record of prospecting new business, enhancing existing relationships, and closing profitable transactions.
- Professional sales skills with planning, execution, and follow‑up of client meetings.
- Strong corporate finance, capital markets, and accounting acumen.
- Financial modeling experience and completion of formal credit training preferred.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Capability to organize, facilitate, lead, and negotiate with a team of bank associates to solve client problems.
- Holds Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 & 63 licenses (or will obtain within 180 days of start date).
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience; MBA desirable.
- Existing knowledge of the market preferred.
- Active member or participation in local community organizations.
- Strong networking contacts and Centers of Influence established in the market.
- Desire to work in a specialty team focused on Healthcare, Education & NFP institutions.

Pay and Benefits InformationPay range: $ – $ annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
