Part Time

$20.00 / Hour

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter grounds, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general assistance, and report maintenance, behavioral, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support hospital operations during high-traffic periods, after-hours activity, and emergency situations by following post orders, assisting with crowd management, and completing required reports.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
