As a Residential Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive, face‑to‑face nursing assessments and services to clients residing in mental health group homes ranging from level B to A+ care. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health‑related interventions, assessing physical and mental health status, creating treatment plans, and helping clients maintain or improve their level of function. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of prescribers, APNs, and mental health workers to promote the overall wellness of our clients.
WhatYou Will Do
- Formulate psychosocial and/or personal care treatment plans with relevant goals, behaviorally‑measurable objectives that serve as indexes for evaluating treatment progress, and realistic time frames for achievement
- Problem‑solve regarding individual and family member treatment and supportive interventions
- Document assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries in the clinical record with all entries authenticated and time‑dated
- Complete health pain and nutrition screens for all assigned clients
- Assist clients’ medical needs
- Safely operate and utilize Agency vehicles while transporting clients to and from specialized medical appointments
- R.N. Degree from a state accredited school of nursing
- Valid RN License
- 1 year experience working with a psychiatric population and knowledge of Universal Precautions
- A valid driver's license insurable by the agency's automobile insurance
