POSITION OPENING FOR SCHOOL YEAR

The Board of Education is seeking applications for the  school year for the following position:

TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR
(12 Months - Non-certificated)
DISTRICT

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school graduate.
  • The ability to deal with the public.
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.
  • New Jersey residence within one (1) year from date of hire.
    • PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conforms with all state laws and regulations regarding school transportation.
  • Maintains safety standards in conformance with state and insurance regulations.
  • Recruits and supervises all transportation personnel.
  • Cooperates with school principals and others responsible for planning special school trips.
  • Develops and administers a transportation program to meet all the requirements of the daily instructional program and extracurricular activities.
  • Develops and administers a contractual transportation program to meet all the requirements of the daily instructional program and extracurricular activities.
  • Prepares bus routes.
  • Prepares and updates bus schedules.
  • Authorizes purchases in accordance with budgetary limitations and district rules.
  • Approves and forwards transportation services invoices to School Business.
    • Compensation Rate/Range: $70,000 - $90,000
