About Dioxycle
Dioxycle is pioneering breakthrough carbon utilization technologies that convert industrial emissions into sustainable chemicals with unprecedented energy and cost efficiency. By displacing fossil fuels for the production of key chemicals, Dioxycle has the potential to ultimately reduce over 800 million tons of CO2 per year
, representing over 2% of the world's emissions.
At the core of our process is a novel "carbon electrolyzer", a machine capable of using just electricity and water to convert carbon emissions back into valuable everyday essential chemicals. Our team is innovating across chemical, mechanical and system engineering to turn carbon transformation into an economically feasible, industrial reality through this completely novel technological approach. Having completed our industrial-scale electrolyzer prototype, we are now working with our chemical and downstream offtakers towards First‑of‑a‑kind plant deployment and subsequent commercial roll‑out.
We are supported by world‑class funders including Bill‑Gates‑funded Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Lower carbon Capital and Gigascale Capital and have raised $40M to date. We operate from two centers in Paris and California (so whether you are passionate about outdoors or good food/art scenes, we have a location for you to join!)
Your MissionDioxycle is seeking a highly skilled and hands‑on Process CAD Engineer to join our team at a pivotal phase of transition from R&D to industrial piloting and early commercial deployment. We are looking for a technically rigorous and execution‑oriented engineer with deep expertise in AutoCAD (P&IDs, Plant 3D, BOM integration) and strong fundamentals in process engineering. In this capacity, your responsibilities will center around:
- Own the development, drafting, and continuous improvement of P&IDs using AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Own the development of layout, plots plans and 3D models using AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Ensure strong integration between P&IDs, 3D models, line lists, equipment lists, and generally engineering/procurement documentation
- Size process lines (gas and liquid) and core equipment based on process requirements
- Perform equipment selection and prepare technical specifications and datasheets
- Interface with vendors and suppliers
- Help structure and standardize Dioxycle’s engineering workflow

- 4+ years of experience in process engineering, plant design, or industrial projects
- Strong expertise in AutoCAD Plant 3D (P&IDs, layout, plot plan, 3D modeling, isometrics, BOM extraction and integration)
- Experience building and managing intelligent P& connected to equipment and line lists
- Solid understanding of process design fundamentals: fluid dynamics, heat transfer, pressure drop calculations, equipment sizing
- Familiarity with industrial standards (ASME, ISO, pressure equipment directives, etc.) is a big plus
- Experience working on pilot plants, skid‑based systems, or small‑to‑mid scale industrial installations is a big plus
- Good project management skills (planning, coordination, supplier follow‑up, milestone tracking)
