Position Summary:

The Press/Form Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and controlling various metal fabricating equipment to produce parts from raw stock or partially completed components according to specifications. Equipment includes brake press, hydraulic press, punch press, turret press, rollers, spinners, shears, band saws, belt sanders, and expanders, in both manual and automatic modes.

• Fabricate metal parts from raw stock (sheet, bar, etc.) or components in various stages of completion.
• Set up and operate metal fabricating equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machine operation and report equipment malfunctions.
• Perform operations as specified on routers and notify supervisor when requirements are not met.
• Measure and verify fabricated parts meet blueprints, sketches, and specifications using appropriate measurement tools.
• Maintain housekeeping at and around the department and apply 6S principles.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow all quality systems, operating procedures, and safety rules.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of college/technical school or three years of related experience/training preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and cognitive skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend routers, blueprints, sketches, diagrams, manuals, specifications, and instructions.
• Good problem‑solving, judgment, and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Primary work location:
Manufacturing floor. Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling/crouching, pushing, pulling, and exposure to noise. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
