The TIG Welding Technician is responsible for performing gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW/TIG) operations on various metal components, using both manual and automatic welding methods. The role includes preparing, assembling, and fusion welding metal parts according to specifications and quality standards.

• Prepare and assemble metal components for welding.
• Perform TIG welding operations using manual and automatic techniques.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of weld rods and consumables.
• Follow quality systems, standard operating procedures, and safety protocols.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of the work area.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training or prior experience in TIG welding preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and welding instructions.
• Knowledge of welding procedures, safety, and equipment operation.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Primary work location:
  Manufacturing floor.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling/crouching, and exposure to noise.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
