Cycle Count Planner
Plans and execute cycle counts as outlined in the company cycle count procedure.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan daily cycle counts.
- Execute daily cycle counts.
- Investigate and locate lost inventory.
- Coordinate count activities with area leaders in manufacturing and the warehouse to ensure all material is accounted for.
- Escalate any non-conformances in part handling/inventory control.
- Daily pass along with specific detail about issues with current days counts.
- Adjust shared source items per current adjustment practices.
- Evaluate materials on a semi-annual basis and provide recommendations for changes in cycle count frequency.
- Investigate root cause of cycle count variance and collaborate with the corresponding stakeholders to implement and validate countermeasures.
- Assist planners, supervisors, or manager on urgent issues as they arise.
- Escalate significant losses immediately.
- Support department kaizen activities.
- Performs all other duties as required.
The salary range for this position is $48,100 - $68,100 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled.
Requirements:
- Meets the following
Education and Experience requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, plus 0 to 2 years of related experience in manufacturing functions; OR
- Associate Degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, plus 2 to 4 years of related experience in manufacturing functions; OR
- HS Diploma or GED, plus 4 to 6 years of related experience in manufacturing functions
- Experience with Plex and Problem Solving Training is preferred.
- Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:
- Clerical and administrative skills
- Organizational and planning skills
- Mathematical and analytical skills
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Computer skills — proficient using standard business software (including MS Office)
- Written and verbal communications skills
- Interpersonal skills – ability to work and function in a team environment and to confidently interact with individual at all levels of authority
