We’re searching for a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. The ADON will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to shape our nursing department, lead transformative initiatives, and foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and compassion.

As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you’ll:

• Partner with the DON to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing services in alignment with Haven Healthcare’s standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Support ongoing quality improvement by collaborating with the QA Nurse to maintain and enhance the facility’s Quality Assurance Program.

• Assist in surveys and inspections, ensuring compliance and readiness at all times.

• Mentor and develop nursing staff, promoting engagement, professional growth, and morale.

• Oversee administrative duties such as charting, reporting, and resident discharge planning.

• Contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace culture where both residents and staff feel supported and appreciated.

• Current RN license in the state of Illinois

• Previous experience in a long-term care setting

• Proven experience in nurse supervision or leadership

• Strong skills in staff education, mentorship, and change management

• A compassionate leadership style with a focus on teamwork and resident well-being
