Commercial Account Manager

We’re looking for a highly motivated Large Commercial Account Manager to support our Commercial Producers and carrier partners in placing new business and servicing existing customers, while maintaining strong relationships with all parties involved.

Full-time, Remote-Hybrid position, Monday through Friday | 8am - 4:30

Salary Range: $65k - $100k

• Lead marketing and placement of new and renewal commercial insurance accounts, including coverage analysis, carrier negotiations, and strategy development.
• Serve as the primary account manager for complex, high-value commercial accounts.
• Partner with Sales Executives on new business, renewals, client meetings, and retention strategies.
• Build strong relationships with clients, carriers, underwriters, and internal teams.
• Prepare proposals, renewal summaries, coverage comparisons, and other client-facing materials.
• Review policies, endorsements, audits, contracts, and certificates for accuracy and coverage alignment.
• Manage complex Certificates of Insurance and contract reviews.
• Resolve client service and coverage issues while ensuring compliance with agency standards.
• Mentor team members and share technical expertise and best practices.

• 5+ years of Commercial Lines Account Executive experience, preferably with large or complex accounts.
• Active Property & Casualty Producer License; industry designations preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial insurance coverage, underwriting, risk management, and placement strategies.
• Proven ability to manage complex books of business and support high-performing Sales Executives.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with agency management systems, Microsoft Office, and carrier platforms.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Please note that this role is intended to transition from fully remote to hybrid in the future. While employees will initially work remotely, the successful candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Houston, Texas and be willing to work onsite according to future hybrid scheduling requirements.
