St. Mary School is seeking a sixth‑grade and combined seventh/eight‑grade teacher in language arts, social studies, or science for the 2026‑2027 school year. The teacher will plan, organize, and deliver a curriculum that meets Diocesan guidelines and supports the diverse needs of all learners.
Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and implement engaging and relevant lessons for sixth‑grade and combined seventh/eight‑grade students.
- Collaborate with math and social studies (or science) teachers to meet the goal of improving instruction for all students.
- Lead growth and development of middle‑school instruction y School.
- Support the faith development of students through prayers, faith instruction, and service to the community.
- Proper teacher certification from an accredited college or university issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
- Experience or desire to enrich gifted learners.
- Desire and ability to use Chromebooks and other technology in the classroom.
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude, calm demeanor, and ability to take initiative.
Wage and salary will be determined at the time of hire based on experience.
