Opportunity
Performs manufacturing activities by adhering to a defined set of procedures and standard outputs to ensure consistent production quality. Tasks include assembling mechanical units or fabricated parts to make sub-assemblies or complete products, and/or using various hand and power tools and operating equipment which may include jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses in order to cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and/or assemble.
Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product requirements. Monitors quality of products and raw materials. Communicates with colleagues within manufacturing to exchange information, providing explanations or interpretations as necessary to maintain alignment and efficiency. Ensures compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and operational guidelines to support seamless manufacturing processes.
- Adhere to all safety precautions and PPE (personal protection equipment) requirements while completing the assigned duties in a safe manner.
- Work on automated lines, placing empty bottles on converters, placing filled bottles in cases, and stacking cases on pallets.
- Work on automatic side stations ranging from 4‑liter bottles, 5‑gal pails, and 55‑gal drums.
- Manually fill side stations from drum jacks.
- Take particle count samples and run particle count tests.
- Keep accurate production records.
- Monitor and assist assigned packaging operations.
- Work with the Quality Assurance Department to understand, recognize and rectify quality issues.
- Have the authority and responsibility to stop the line and notify QA of a contamination event.
- Comply with all cGMP requirements.
- Manage hazardous and universal waste according to local, state and federal regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
- Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience: 1 – 3 years of related experience in a manufacturing facility, preferable a chemical plant.

Competencies:
Demonstrated mechanical ability;
Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem analysis skills;
Strong interpersonal communication skills including the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language;
Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division);
Critical decision-making skills, creativity, multi-tasking ability; RCRA Training.
May be exposed to both extreme heat and cold. Typical production area: occasional noise, heat, fumes and dust.
