Production Operator
The Production Operator works within the Production Department as a Material Handler, Fork Truck Driver, and Conveyance Operator. In this role, you unload and move materials, supply the production line with necessary parts, perform inspections, and support overall production activities while following established safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities- Work within the Production Department as a Material Handler, Fork Truck Driver, and Conveyance Operator.
- Unload materials from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned locations.
- Move pallets to and from the assembly line and designated locations in accordance with safety standards.
- Perform all Production Team Member duties and responsibilities as needed.
- Maintain required safety rules and procedures at all times.
- Maintain a valid fork truck certification and carry the certification while performing fork truck duties.
- Complete all pre-shift and post-shift checklists or inspections.
- Receive all incoming freight and verify materials against documentation.
- Complete and process necessary paperwork for incoming and outgoing materials.
- Supply the Production team with all necessary parts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Off-load deliveries of tires, wheels, and other raw materials.
- Inspect tires, wheels, other parts, and finished assemblies according to established inspection standards.
- Maintain in-sequence production flow and communicate with internal customers to ensure the accuracy of finished goods.
- Complete all working documentation, records, and reports as requested.
- Perform troubleshooting, problem solving, and countermeasure activities as necessary to support continuous operations.
- Keep the work environment safe, organized, and clean at all times.
- Serve as backup for production operations when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production and material handling activities.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paris, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.95 - $19.95/hr.
