Registered Nurse (RN), Medical‑Surgical (PRN)

Job Type: Part Time | Days

Schedule: 4 shifts in a 6‑week period

We are looking for a Med/Surg RN who excels in this role.

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients, participate in patient and family teaching, act as a patient advocate, and work as part of a team with ancillary and non‑nursing departments.
• Assess the patient’s condition and nursing care needs.
• Set goals and prescribe appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.
• Develop individual nursing care plans.
• Implement care plans and make revisions as needed.
• Evaluate patient care outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other hospital employees.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies.
• Communicate with patients and oversee provision of care.

Applicants should have a current Kentucky or compact state RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing, required.
• KY RN state licensure or compact licensure, required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
