Centerpoint Health - Paris, formerly Bourbon Community Hospital, is a 58‑bed acute care facility located in the heart of Bluegrass.

The Med/Surg unit is a 16‑bed department that provides comprehensive, patient‑centered care across a wide range of medical and surgical needs. The unit is fully remote‑telemetry capable, allowing nurses to closely monitor patients and support higher‑acuity care in a collaborative environment.

• This position coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient advocate, and works as part of a team with ancillary and non‑nursing departments.
• Assesses the patient's condition and nursing care needs.
• Sets goals and prescribes appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs of patients.
• Develops individual nursing care plans.
• Implements care plans and makes revisions as needed.
• Evaluates patient care outcomes.
• Collaborates with physicians and other hospital employees.
• Administers medications, treatments and therapies.
• Communicates with patients and oversees provision of care.

• Current Kentucky or compact state RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
