It offers services in behavioral health and has a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, therapists, nurses, social workers, mental health technicians, recreation therapists, and Kentucky certified teachers.

• This position coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient advocate, and works as part of a team with ancillary and non-nursing departments.
• Assesses the patient's condition and nursing care needs.
• Sets goals and prescribes appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of patients.
• Develops individual nursing care plans.
• Implements care plans and makes revisions as needed.
• Evaluates patient care outcomes.
• Collaborates with physicians and other hospital employees.
• Administers medications, treatments and therapies.
• Communicates with patients and oversees provision of care.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required).
• KY RN state licensure or compact licensure (required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
