Location: Paris, KY

Pay Rate: $32.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible hours (7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM-6:00 PM). Overtime flexibility preferred.

We are seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental programs at our Paris, KY facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career EHS professional looking to expand their experience in manufacturing, industrial safety, environmental compliance, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
• 1-2 years of EHS experience
• Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification preferred
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

• Support compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements
• Conduct hazard assessments, risk evaluations, and corrective action tracking
• Assist with safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analysis
• Deliver employee safety training and support safety awareness initiatives
• Participate in environmental compliance programs, including wastewater, air, waste, stormwater, and related reporting activities
• Assist with emergency response planning and continuous improvement efforts
• Support contractor safety programs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe workplace
