Position: Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Cynthiana KY 41031

JOB OVERVIEW

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally you may work on other products from partner companies in the stores you service.

  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $14.50 - $16.50
    , depending on your skills and experience.
  • Paid training is provided, delivered through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.
  • Part‑time employees are eligible for voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage.
  • Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
  • This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours are between 2 – 7 hours per week

YOUR

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of a variety of retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The role consists of three major components:

  • Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside the Hallmark department. Technology is critical for daily work, communication with supervisors, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required merchandising activities. You will provide professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers, and you are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
  • Holiday support: Hallmark’s operations revolve around seasonal demand. Leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may be required for additional days and extended hours during the work week. On certain holidays you may need to work on the holiday itself, including weekends.
  • Department resets: Occasionally you may be part of a team responsible for installations and various tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Notification is typically given two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.
  • Team collaboration: As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you are part of a network of merchandisers who often support other team members as needed in their territories.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    This physically demanding job requires a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the sales floor as well as in back stockrooms. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also need to kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.

    BASIC

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • At least 18 years of age.
    • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
    • Capable of pulling, lifting, and carrying products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
    • Ability to operate a digital hand‑held device to open documents and interpret information.
    • Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the Internet.
    • Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
