Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Georgetown, KY, is looking for dedicated full- and part-time Emergency Response Officers to join our elite emergency response team! Help protect one of the most advanced manufacturing facilities in the world while ensuring the safety of our team and operations.

• Respond to fire, medical, and hazardous materials emergencies
• Perform fire prevention inspections & safety training

The Emergency Response Officer position serves as a pipeline to a firefighter position assigned to a company within Toyota’s Emergency Response Team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience, develop emergency response skills, complete required training and certifications, and build a career in industrial fire and emergency response.

$300.00 signing bonus for providing a current NFPA physical within the last 6 months!

10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Follow the Emergency Action and Communication Plans and all Standard Operating Procedures for emergencies.
• Complete incident reports as required.
• Responds to all fire/medical/security/hazmat/threat situations according to Emergency Response Plan and Standard Operating Procedures and Medical Director Protocols.
• Performs routine daily/weekly/monthly inspections on fire alarm/fire suppression/and security equipment.
• Physically inspect all fire suppression systems, including but not limited to:
  • Sprinkler System
  • Manual and Automatic Alarm initiating devices
  • Fire Panels
  • Standpipe Hoses
• Perform daily inspections on apparatus, security vehicles, and emergency response equipment.
• Patrol facilities for fire or building code violations and additional safety hazards; report to supervisor.
• Approve and inspect all hot works and high-hazard hot works and confined space permits.
• Participate in daily training on emergency response to maintain readiness.
• Maintain compliance with personal Fire/Medical/Hazmat certifications as required by local mandate.
• Demonstrate experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a high-pressure environment.
• Other duties to be determined by the supervisor.

• Minimum of 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED
• Certified Fire 1 and 2
• EMR or EMT certified
• Current Driver’s License
• Hazmat Operations
• Pass an NFPA 1582 physical examination
