Job Description

Summary:

Overview

Responsible for receiving all incoming mail, freight and processing it to the correct location in a timely manner. The position requires one eight hour shift 5 days per week. The employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.

Responsibilities Receives and processes all general medical supplies and equipment in a timely manner.

Receives departmental requisitions and fills from stock and delivers in a timely manner.

Processes and delivers all incoming and outgoing mail and freight.

Stocks, stores and transports supplies and equipment in the main building and outside whose.

Delivers supplies to areas around the hospital by a truck as assigned.

Maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment in the storeroom.

Maintains a positive work environment and promotes a team approach.

Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Completion of 12th Grade (high school) or equivalent outside study.

LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION: N/A

EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge of hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Ability to learn quickly.
